Recently, the Jinan "Overseas Liaison and Bridge-building" Investment Promotion Conference was successfully held at the Nile Tower in Cairo, Egypt. The event was spearheaded by Ma Qiang, Vice Chairman of the Overseas Chinese Federation in Huaiyin District, Jinan, Head of the Overseas Chinese Star Volunteer Service Team in Egypt, and Executive Vice President of the Egypt-China Cultural Exchange Association, and organized by the Jinan International Communication Center. The conference attracted over 30 entrepreneurs from both China and Egypt.
During the conference, Ma Qiang provided an overview of Jinan City, highlighting the advantages of Huaiyin District's strategic location. He emphasized that Jinan is rich in resources, continuously optimizing its investment model and upgrading its service mechanisms, thereby creating a distinctive and advantageous business-friendly ecosystem. Jinan has established new strengths in high-quality development, with significant industrial potential in fields such as science and technology innovation, healthcare, education, and culture.
Entrepreneurs from both countries engaged in in-depth discussions on potential future cooperation opportunities. Participants expressed that the event gave them a deeper understanding of Jinan's unique charm and advantages. High-level Egyptian talents expressed confidence in Jinan's development prospects, with two Egyptian doctors, including Ahmed El-Mahdy, expressing interest in employment and indicating their intention to explore suitable job opportunities in Jinan further. Additionally, two patented projects by Amir, Dean of the Petroleum Faculty at Cairo University and a doctoral advisor, reached preliminary cooperation agreements during the event.
The successful hosting of this event has built a bridge for China-Egypt exchanges and cooperation, deepening mutual understanding and trust among enterprises from both regions. It has also laid a solid foundation for Jinan to expand its international market and attract foreign investment. The Jinan International Communication Center will continue to deepen international exchanges and cooperation, making new contributions to Jinan's efforts to attract investment and talent.
