During the event, the international youths visited the Shandong Heavy Industry (Laiwu, Jinan) Green Manufacturing Industrial City and the Zhongke Beidou Digital Agriculture Demonstration Base to learn about the development of Jinan's intelligent manufacturing and high-end equipment industries. They toured Daming Lake and the Baihuazhou Historical and Cultural District, enjoying the lake scenery described as "Green lotus leaves outspread as far as boundless sky; Pink lotus blossoms take from sunshine a new dye." They also visited Jinan Youth Palace to experience traditional Chinese culture such as ethnic instruments, martial arts, and paper cutting with local youths. The Chinese and American youths learned from each other, forming friendships and injecting new vitality into the promotion of Sino-American cultural exchange and cooperation.

Some of the youths were visiting China for the first time, while others were "sinophiles". They expressed that immersing themselves in the hospitality of the people of the Spring City felt like "coming home". "Chinese culture is very charming, and Jinan has over 1,000 springs with beautiful names. Jinan's technology is very advanced. We visited projects like heavy-duty trucks going global and Beidou satellites aiding agriculture. The perseverance and determination of the Chinese people are impressive."
